CIC portal

The CIC portal is a management and operations tool for all Grid national and international actors for their operational needs. It provides information about VOs and VO management tools. It also provides tools for monitoring and daily Grid status overview.Users can get access and operate through the tool according to their role, which defines the view. Possible roles are: VO Users, VO Manager, Regional Operations Centre staff.

GGUS

GGUS (Global Grid User Support) is the EGEE/EGI international helpdesk system for trouble ticket handling. It is dedicated to international user communities, and to get help from the middleware Support Units

GOCDB

The GOCDB (Grid Operations Centre DB) provides general information about sites that are part of the the pan-European Grid infrastructure, such as: their various computing resources (nodes), any periods of scheduled maintenance, and contact information for the sites. A valid X509 digital certificate from a Grid trusted CA installed in your browser is requested to get access. If your site is not listed you should contact the IGI regional operations centre, who can assist you in adding your site to the system.

Regional Dashboard

The Regional Dashboard is the tool used by the IGI regional operations centre to monitor the status of sites in the region, to quickly identify alarms, and possibly open tickets to the affected sites.

IGI ticketing system

The IGI ticketing system is the IGI helpdesk system which allows national users and IGI site managers to get support from the IGI operations centre.

SAM Admin

The SAM Admin tool allows to submit on-deman tests for a given site. Several Grid elements can be tested, such as the CE, SE, LFC, etc. Submission of on-demand tests can be useful to reset the status of the sites and improve the availability/reliability of the own site. A second SAM Admin instance is available for failover reasons, it can be accessed at this url.

Broadcast tool

The Broadcast tool can be used to inform the Grid community about news of general interest.
